Who we are

The team

We’re Jake and Claire – also known as Flomp Studio!

Jake is the maths whiz in charge of programming, mechanic design, and sound. Claire works more on the narrative, art, and marketing (so the one writing this!).

We’re so excited to announce our first game – Happy Hour Hero – which Jake made completely by himself. It’s a VR flowstate-like game based on the most multitasking, flowstate-y career there is – bartending.

We’re a small team with a big list of ideas for all manner of genres, so watch this space (over a few years, we can only go so fast…!)

Our philosophy

We’re tired of the typical corporate lingo including terms like ‘exponential growth’ and ‘SMART objectives’. So we kept ours simple. We promise to:

  1. create casual, affordable, and most importantly fun games
  2. never include microtransactions or other predatory models
  3. always be about the art and the message, never the money
  4. always keep the cost to the planet as low as possible
  5. avoid empty business jargon.

The cat

Let’s be real – this is what you came here for. The inspiration behind our name and our logo. The OG Flomper himself – Foggy.

He’s our steadfast companion, the chillest boy, and a great daily reminder of biscuit breaktime. We want our games to embody his casual and relaxed nature, making the world a better place one flomp at a time.
